Sync

Hi new to this guys , created a couple of apps for my fb group , spent a lot if time building an app , the question is , what does sync do and how does it work? Does this mean I can make changes to the app from my end and the users app with sync to it ? Automatic updates are not essential as I can release another app when I make changes , but it would be handy , I just can't figure it out or see what the sync feature does

I don't understand how you're creating app for facebook group. Anyway, to answer your question, "sync" simply means update or check for new articles. It's not for updating the app, but to fetch new posts in the app. You need to add some feed etc first so that when you click sync, if there's any new post on that feed, it will appear on the app.
