I always thought it was just a link to some website. Actually, it’s really useful to understand even little things like that. Not long ago, I had to use a proxy for the first time. I googled info, articles like this one https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flash_proxy, just to get an idea of how it works and what benefits I could get from a proxy. That info definitely doesn’t hurt.
