Hi! You can for add weather you should:
1. Add a webmodule with a Weather website. For example (http://www.msn.com/en-us/weather)
2. Add a RSS module with weather. For example, Yahoo has a Weather RSS on their website (there could be royalities on that, i'm not shure) you can find the weather RSS here: https://developer.yahoo.com/weather/archive.html

Honestly, I’m not that interested in watching the weather, but keeping an eye on the area itself is really interesting. Especially if it’s some place I know like where I grew up. I tried looking for places like that on Google Maps and those satellite photos, but I wouldn’t say you can really see much there.

I feel like Google gives enough info for a regular user who doesn’t need any extra data for something like area analysis. But now there are more pro-level tools like eos.com/find-satellite/sentinel-2/ that you can use not just to look at the place where you grew up, but even compare it with older satellite images. Like, way more detail, sharper images, more data and all that.
