Securing Temporary Event Locations

I recently helped organize a pop-up event in Portland and realized that temporary setups are particularly vulnerable. We had areas with equipment and signage that needed constant monitoring, and staff were unsure how to manage security without making visitors feel restricted. I wanted to know if having dedicated personnel for short-term events was practical.
