Why will google use old apk v25 that is no longer in production to suspend my app?. On May 27, 2021 I rollout apk 27 and on June 8, 2021 released 31(v4.0.17) was rollout (as seen from the attached file). But the next day, google suspended my app, why?. I have made appeal since June 10, 2021 but up till now, no response from them. Please what is the next step?
Thank you.
wait.. they will reply

Hi AppYet,

Thanks for your app development service.

I've made an app through @appyet which is quite popular among users. I'm having 100K+ installs as well.

But I can't use Google or Facebook as they have banned my app for monetization (The same case for many other appyet app developers). So now, I've no way to generate revenue from my best app with premium users.

After searching for ways to monetize the app, I found that Google offers Adx service on top of Admob. Adx is similar to Admob and provides good revenue with higher eCPM.

Adx implementation in appyet app source code is very similar to Admob with minor changes in Ad Unit formation. So I request you to provide us a facility to input Adx Ads units in our apps in Appyet platform. There's a very minor change required in the existing source code to enable Google Adx implementation. Could you please help me with this? By this, I can generate revenue through my appyet apps.

Google Support for Adx implementation: https://developers.google.com/ad-manager/mobile-ads-sdk/android/quick-start

Awaiting your response @appyet. Your attention is required. Please respond.

Use the suggestions area for those things ;)
And BTW, that is not a thing related with appyet. If you download a file to the device (PDF) the file is in the Downloads folder of that device, and anyone can see it. If you don't want that, just don't provide the download. Nothing that can be done from AppYet side.

After 15 days, Google finally reply my appeal favourably. Below is the reply:

Hi Developer,

Thanks for contacting the Google Play team.
Status: App not available on Google Play, pending your action
I’m happy to report that we have conditionally accepted your appeal. I’ve included details below about what additional steps you’ll need to take to get your app back on Google Play.
Step 1: Update your app
During review, we found that your app com.e.a.olatoye violates the Device and Network Abuse policy:
  • An app distributed via Google Play may not modify, replace, or update itself using any method other than Google Play's update mechanism. Likewise, an app may not download executable code (e.g. dex, JAR, .so files) from a source other than Google Play. Please note that you are responsible for all aspects of your app; by using an SDK in your app, you are responsible for how that SDK behaves within your app.
  • Apps and app listings on Google Play must not provide any means to activate or access functionality that violate these terms, such as linking to a non-compliant APK hosted outside Google Play.
You can read through the Device and Network Abuse policy page for more details and examples of common violations.
For example, we found your app (APK version code: 25) is using a non-compliant version of Downloader SDK which contains code to download or install applications from unknown sources outside of Google Play.
Please update your app to fix this issue by:
  • Removing the Downloader SDK or contacting the SDK provider for the latest compliant version.
  • Removing any unrequired use of the permission android.permission.REQUEST_INSTALL_PACKAGES if your app is requesting this permission
You may also want to double check that your app complies with all other Developer Program Policies, as additional enforcement could occur if there are further policy violations.
Step 2: Submit an update to your app
To submit an update to your app’s store listing information:
  1. Sign in to your Play Console.
  2. Select the app with the policy issue.
  3. Select Store presence > Main store listing.
  4. Make changes to bring your app into compliance.
  5. Click Save.
To submit an updated app bundle or APK:
  1. Prepare your updates.
  2. Create a new release using the compliant app bundle or APK. Be sure to create the new release on the same track(s) as the non-compliant app bundle or APK, increment the version number, and set the release to 100% rollout.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to add APKs or app bundles, then review and roll out your release.

Please, hope the below error will not cause another suspension?

Errors, warnings and messages

3 Warnings

3 MESSAGES FOR VERSION CODE 32

Warning
This APK results in unused code and resources being sent to users. Your app could be smaller if you used the Android App Bundle. By not optimizing your app for device configurations, your app is larger to download and install on users' devices than it needs to be. Larger apps see lower install success rates and take up storage on users' devices.

Warning
This APK contains Java/Kotlin code, which might be obfuscated. We recommend you upload a deobfuscation file to make your crashes and ANRs easier to analyze and debug. Learn More

Warning
This APK contains native code, and you've not uploaded debug symbols. We recommend you upload a symbol file to make your crashes and ANRs easier to analyze and debug. Learn More

Waiting for @appyet response to Playstore now requiring aab files and not accepting apk files for new apps. Hope we get news soon! Thank you!
Hoping we can directly generate aab files from the build section. I really love @appyet and planning to use it in my future apps also.
