Feeds with authentication

I cannot use feeds with SSL authentication in appyet. If I try to include username: pass@ in the URL, it is giving an error of invalid URL. Can you please suggest a way to do this. It'd be best if the authentication was asked at the first start of the app

That is confedentual. I can tell you that it has https authentication and normally works in browser using user: pass@site format, but doesn't in appyet. If it is absolutely necessary to have the url, please mail me at radialapps@gmail.com
