hello everyone .. i tried so much to change the color of the status bar but with no results

@color/colorPrimary , @color/colorPrimaryDark
Any idea guys on how to change it ?
beside I just wish Appyet had an interface to modify the design setting it would make the apps more attractive + adding more professional app UI for example
