Privacy Violation

I have received a comunication from Google Play Support

"Issue: Violation of Usage of Android Advertising ID policy and section 4.8 of the Developer Distribution Agreement

Google Play requires developers to provide a valid privacy policy when the app requests or handles sensitive user or device information. We’ve identified that your app collects and transmits the Android advertising identifier, which is subject to a privacy policy requirement. If your app collects the Android advertising ID, you must provide a valid privacy policy in both the designated field in the Play Console, and from within the app."

How can solve this problem?

Hi, @Ste!

Remember to add a Privacy Policy of your app. This document discloses some or all of the ways the app gathers, uses, discloses, and manages the app user data.

You can create it from scratch or using some website such as App Privacy Policy Generator.

If you choose the second option (generator), you need to choose the following options:
  • Google Play Services
  • Firebase Analytics
  • Crashlytics

I hope it helped you. Best regards!

Hi @Ste.

Not exactly. You can, but remember to fill the specific section in AppYet. Go to your app page (in appyet.com), click on the Settings tab and go down to the Privacy Policy Link option, where you need to place your Privacy Policy URL (if you don't have a server you can create a simple page with Google Sites).

Cheers.

look in the store play store an application before it was removed that came out see application permissions and write that and paste it in the privacy policy and I re-published the application I hope not to remove it again
